NeatScan To Office and Microsoft Word Tutorial
Welcome to the NeatScan To Office Microsoft Word video tutorial. NeatScan To Office enables you to scan text or images directly into Microsoft Word - eliminating the need to re-type documents and making it easy to add graphics. Let’s get started.
In this example we’ll scan a rental agreement that we need to make changes to, but can only find a hard copy. To do this, first create a new Word document.
If you haven't already done so, select your settings by clicking the Settings button on the NeatScan To Office toolbar, and select the scanning options that best suit your needs. For this example, I’ve chosen to embed the entire document in black and white.
You can always see your default settings by placing your mouse over the Settings button.
Once you’ve chose your settings, place the document face down in your scanner and click the Scan to Word button on the toolbar.
When the scan is complete, the rental agreement appears as an editable Word document. You can then easily make changes, and re-save the file – preferably, someplace you’ll find it next time.
