NeatScan To Office and PowerPoint Tutorial

Welcome to the NeatScan To Office PowerPoint video tutorial. The scan feature in PowerPoint makes it easy to add both text and graphics into your presentations. And, doing so takes only a few simple steps.

Let’s get started!

With your PowerPoint presentation opened, insert a document face down in your scanner.

If you haven't already done so, choose your settings by clicking the Settings button on the NeatScan To Office toolbar. By changing the configuration, you can choose to extract the text from a document, or place it as an image into a slide.  In this example, I’m going to embed a color image.

Once you have selected your settings, close the Settings window and click the Scan to PowerPoint button on the toolbar.

When the scan is complete, your image displays in your PowerPoint slide.
Once the image is in your presentation, you can crop and resize the image by using PowerPoint's editing tools.

If you’d like to add text to PowerPoint, simply change the  setting to “Text”, and scan away. Only plain text is inserted into the slide, which you can then edit and format as you like.
