NeatScan To Office and Outlook Contacts Tutorial

Welcome to the NeatScan To Office Outlook Contacts video tutorial. With NeatScan To Office, you can easily manage and keep track of all your business contacts by scanning business cards directly into Outlook Contacts. And, you can do all of this in a few quick and easy steps. Sound easy? It is -- let’s get started!

Open Microsoft Outlook and select the Contacts view.

Insert a business card face down in the scanner.

Click the Scan to Contacts button on the NeatScan To Office toolbar.

In a matter of seconds, the contact information, such as name, address and phone number populates the appropriate fields. And the really neat thing? The image of the card itself is also scanned and appears in the Notes section.  And since the image is saved, you can simply toss that card in the recycle bin, and de-clutter your desk.

If you have a two-sided business card, no problem. To scan the reverse side of the business card, place the back of the card face down in your scanner and click the Scan to Notes button. The image of the back of the card. will also be placed in the Notes section.

Verify the contact data, make any changes, if necessary, and save your new Contact by clicking the Save and Close button.

NeatScan To Office also adds an item to your Contacts list called ‘Neat Created Contacts’ – which enables you to view only those contacts you created by scanning.

Pretty Neat!
