NeatReceipts 3.0 SP1 (Full Installation)
NeatReceipts Professional 2.1-2.8 users: update your software to Version 3 SP1 - the latest free update for both Windows XP and Vista users. (2.0 users, scroll down to access an additional update file.)
STEP 1: Backup Your Current Database
Launch your application and back up your NeatReceipts database. To do this, go to Tools > Database > Backup.
In the "Save" dialog box that opens, browse to the appropriate location on your hard drive and save the backup file with the default .nrbak file extension. It is recommended that you save your backup file in your My Documents folder.
Close the NeatReceipts application.
STEP 2: Uninstall Your Current Version of NeatReceipts
Unplug your scanner.
From your Start Menu, go to All Programs > NeatReceipts > Uninstall NeatReceipts and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: Vista users, go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program > NeatReceipts.
STEP 3: Download & Install NeatReceipts Version 3 SP1
Click on the "DOWNLOAD NOW" link below and when prompted, choose "Save To Disk" in the dialog box that appears. An .exe file will be downloaded to your computer.
Temporarily Disable Anti-Virus or Security Software. To disable your anti-virus software, click on its desktop icon and follow the on-screen instructions.
Click on the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
When prompted, enter this 23-digit Product Key to activate your software:
STEP 4: Restore Your Data
1. Launch NeatReceipts Version 3 SP1 by double clicking on the NeatReceipts shortcut installed on your desktop.
2. Go to Tools > Database > Restore. Browse to find your database backup (the .nrbak file) and click OK.
