Just installed NR on my MacBook because my G4 is running old OS. I purchased 10.5 and am waiting for it to arrive. I didn't read far enough into the advertising to realize that this was more than an advance release, but a truly Beta configuration, but live and learn. I don't mind waiting for everything, specifically the Quicken exports to arrive. I will just play with the MacBook and scan receipts and learn the system... Here is the question... I know what the License Agreement states, one computer at a time. Well my G4 is where my records and main Qicken files reside, will I be able to uninstall from my MacBook and reinstall on my upgraded G4? It is important that I know this as it is already on my MacBook (read the Agreement after reading a post). If this cannot be done, or if the licensing cant be changed to 2 home units, then I will return the product.

I went to Live chat and got my answer on the Laptop, Desktop question. I was informed that I am OK with both. Looking fwd to upgrades now... 

Not feeling so dumb anymore... haven't had any of the issues folks have had so far, but whenever I install or upgrade I always repair Disk Permissions, whether it needs it or not. Have had great luck doing this. I first installed NRMac yesterday and it immediately went to  the latest version before I could complete my install. If NR continues like this, I will be very happy to wait for V2.0.
