Neatworks seems to take a long time to load and once it does I cannot scan. The screen will say it's scanning (sometimes) but the scanner never does anything but sit there.

I just purchased a new Fujitsu Scan Snap 300M. Unfortunately I cannot get NeatWorks to recognize it. How do I get NeatWorks to accept the scanner.

I just scanned a year's worth of docs into my MacBook Pro, then copied the collections onto my iMac G5 desktop. Since then I've had the same problem with hangs when "gen. pdf" and I've experienced all the problems above.

We installed version 2.5.5 on our home pc, we use vista. Everything seems to be working fine, but when we scan a receipt, no image or information is showing up. It's completely blank. I can't find any info in the support guides. Help is greatly appreciated.

I also have many problems with the program. It doesn't crash but it lags after I use it for a little while and I can't seem to do anything else on the computer while it is running. I'm running 10.4.11 but the problems with the application seem to span 10.4 and 10.5. Do you see a the "Generating PDF" ...

I had to contact technical support to disable the spotlight feature of neatreceipts which doesn't seem to work on my computer. I haven't had the searching problem but I know there are problems with integration with Spotlight. Does your Spotlight still work? Mine was completely disabled with the install of NeatReceipts.

Make sure you're not going through a USB hub - plug the scanner in directly to the computer. This didn't help the problem of the fields not being auto-filled, but it definitely fixed the scanning problem. I'm guessing the auto-fill problem is a different bug altogether.

Any reason why the software locks up on close every time? It opens fine, works great, scans great,etc.
But every time I quit the program it locks up and I have to do a Force Quit. I've tried Quit from the Menu with the library open; I've tried closing the library and then quitting...still hangs for a while. Maybe it's doing something ...
