  • option to scan receipts in color/convert items

I just received Neat Receipts. It looks like it will be very helpful as my husband and I prepare to get rid of many files that are too smoky to keep in the new apartment. I started with the tutorial in the receipts section. I had a short scare when I scanned a color receipt in following the tutorial instructions and it came out black ...

  • Neat Receipts and Quicken Data Exchange

Quicken versions since 2004 (ie 2005, etc) have eliminated their support of QIF import into checking, credit card, savings account (only support cash).  Now they rely on OFX protocal communication.  Is there a way that could be implemented with Neat Receipts.  It would significantly reduce the import complications into ...

  • Re: Import PDFs

I can't stress this enough, but not having PDF import is really hurting our productivity with this product. Neatreceipts supports storing documents in addition to receipts, and it is very inefficient to use the provided scanner to scan larger multi-page documents. In addition (like others have mentioned), we receive lots of receipts online and ...

  • NR Program on U3 USB Flash Drives for Total Portability

It also might be a good idea to create a version of NeatReceipts that runs using U3 technology so that the entire NR program can run in a system partition of a U3 USB flash drive, and data is stored in the data partition. See http://www.U3.com for more info on U3 USB drives. Check out what H&R Block ...

  • Data Store Location Customizing

What can be done to change the data store from C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$NR2005\data to be a user selectable location such as a portable hard drive or a USB flash drive? The routine of doing a backup at the office and a restore to another machine (home for instance, or a notebook for traveling) allows a user to ...

  • Re: Manual receipt entry - memorized receipts

I use the manual receipt entry quite a bit - and that's on the right track, but what would be better is a "memorized receipt" I have several expenses for which there is no physical receipt - paper or electronic - and they are recurring transactions: same "vendor," same amount every month.

  • Import PDF Receipts

I was totally surprised by this: Although it seems you can EXPORT PDFs, it doesn't seem that you can import them. I try to keep copies of all of our receipts in neatreceipts, may of which I get through electronic methods (email, efax, downloadable statements). So many are in PDFs, but the only way I can get them in neatreceipts is either to ...

  • PDF Support for Attaching

Since so many companies are now offering PDFs as ways for grabbing receipts, I was wondering if you've given thought to support for PDF images - even if just to attach it to an existing receipt (even without OCR)
