Wouldn't it be great if there was a folder type for incoming funds or checks that could be properly categorized with the payment copy. We are a contractor and product supplier. I would like to see:
1) The ability to display and sort on date scanned. I scan a lot of receipts, then go in and "clean" up the data. I like the ability to look at "date scanned" to find receipts. I'm never gonna find that receipt from 6/3/08 that gets scanned as 6/3/03.

I have just returned to Neat Receipts as I converted to using Macs almost two years ago. I am glad to be able to use the product again and congratulations for allowing the free download to old Windows users. That is a must have feature. The best way to back up data is to keep it somewhere online and I do not think it is wise to put an unencrypted document database online.
Lack of encryption seriously restricted the usefulness of the system.

It is a complete waste of time to have to print PDFs just so I can scan them into NeatReceipts. It would be so much better and faster if I could simply import PDFs like I do other image files.
When will NeatReceipts be able to allow for that type of functionality as almost everyone of my bills and documents are in PDF format? ...

I use this for expense reports on the road, two suggestions.
1. Improve export to pdf quality, it is horrible, I currently have to "print" to .mdi and use microsoft imaging to create a .mdi file from the different docs and receipts and then print to pdf using an installed pdf converter. Reason? There are ...

I agree. I would like to be back on at least 1 on the newly split items.
But even better would be to mimic Quicken and how they handle splits. In the split popup, category, memo, amount. Adjust button... Then go back to 1 seemless looking transaction with the full amount and category saying "Split" grayed out.
