  • Mac software hole that Neatco might want to explore

I love Neat Works for Mac.  i used it almost everyday to file my receipts that I use out there. However the product offerings for a personal finance software for Mac overall are lacking.   I have tried all of the major offerings for personal finance software for Mac out there and found them all to not be what I am looking for.  ...

  • Software and scanner suggestions

Let me start off by saying I love the product idea, however performance is another issue. For $500, we should be getting a lot better. -Software: You should be able to scan to specific folder.  If you know where items will end up that should be an option.  Way too much of a resource hog. The SQL memory hog limits my ability to do ...

  • Export to QuickBooks does not balance.

I'm having a problem where I will put in the total / GST / PST in a receipt; when I export to QuickBooks and open the associated record, the total value would be changed to reflect the 5% GST instead of the amount that was on the receipt.  Has anyone encountered this, have a solution to fix this?

  • Cannot export to Quickbooks

Has anyone been successful with directly exporting to QB?  The instructions say to have my QB company file open but then tells me I need to close it.  When I do it cannot connect.  Tech help took control of my computer and could not solve it either. Thanks, Dan

  • Tax Category Assignment

It would be incredibly helpful if the ability to assign a tax category (currently on the PC version) would also be available for the MAC.  Also - the ability to run reports on some or all tax categories, and have this be in a format that could be imported into Quicken/Quickbooks would also be very valuable.  thanks for all your hard ...

  • Quickbooks Export Feature Needs Improvement

I really like this product and when I get my business ready to franchise I want to require all my franchisees to use it, but there are a few issues that must be fixed before I do that. One of the main issues I have is the Quickbooks Export feature. It is very time consuming to always match the categories from NeatReceipts with the ones from ...

  • Quickbooks Guide

Jenn, As a person who relies heavily on NR and QB for business, I'd really like to start trying out NR with my financial platform. However, QB has a massively difficult import feature when reconciling against the general ledger. Could one of you guys at NR put together a simple "how to" using screenshots and instructions on using NR ...

  • Tax Line Assignment for S-Corp

Jenn, (or whomever gets this that can answer it) I was talking a customer through some integration ideas today for quickbooks and neatreceipts, as opposed to Quicken and neat receipts. One of his comments was that there was no tax-line assigment for categories related to S-Corp businesses. I know they have Schedule-C information for personal ...
