Let me start off by saying I love the product idea, however performance is another issue. For $500, we should be getting a lot better.

You should be able to scan to specific folder. If you know where items will end up that should be an option.

I just love this product, I've been wanting to buy it for 6 months and finally did. The product is superb but as always there are areas where it can be improved.
A major barrier to using it, in my opinion, would be the ability to "Print to NeatWorks" the same way can you "Print to PDF" with acrobat.
