  • Itemized line amounts and expense type needed

    Being a new user of Neat Receipts for the Mac, I find the feature most needed is line-by-line separation of amounts, not just the total amount of the receipt.     I'd like to see more robust help information on the Mac version [checking out the Windows help documentation, its lacking too].     By reading the Windows help documentation, I got the impression that "category" is a description of the receipt vendor not the type of expense. So Wal-mart would be 'general retail". Sunoco would be 'gas' etc. What mystifies me, like you guys, is how to identify the expenses such as "Christmas 2008" or ...
