Hello, My scanner came with NeatReceipts v2.1.1 software for Win 2000 & XP. I purchased the v3 upgrade disc (which is actually v3.0.4) for Win XP & Vista. I just did the 3.0SP1 upgrade. When I downloaded the upgrade and prior to deleting 2.8 I backed up all my data files and then again when I un-installed 2.8 I backed up again! I had a problem similar to this but with the 2.75 to 2.81 upgrade failing saying NOT ENOUGH FREE SPACE.  Before I got to this point, the upgrade was going well, but after the reboot during the middle of the 2.81 upgrade, the entire install of NeatReceipts disappeared.  I did find a few items hanging around enough to screw up any attempt ...
