hardware is the same- I ordered a pc version too.
Back in the day, when they had the mac version as a pre-release, you could enter in your pc serial number on a webpage, and it'd generate a mac serial number, and let you download the mac version. Anyone see that on the site lately?

Yeah, it's a problem for scanning in BW and then trying to email as well. I have found that when scanning in the BW setting doesn't actually scan in BW- or something weird is going on- the only thing that I find that helps is:scan in your docthen, page by page, you have to go through your doc in the Inspector, click on the ...

to join docs:
in the 'normal' view, select two docs you want to merge- and only two docs (does not do more than 2 at a time)
you can select one by clicking on it once, then the other by holding down the Command key and clicking.
Then go to Edit, Combine Selected Items. It'll ask you which one you want as the first page.

I don't have the PDF error, or the note saving error.
I had other errors, though. I just used the Uninstall program on the 2.0.3 disk image, and then did a fresh install- that fixed some of my problems. You might want to try this. It states that it does not effect your Library, but I'd make a backup just in case!

I had many exporting problems- email, drag and drop, and the Export command.

Updates:
Completely uninstalled the program, reinstalled 2.0.3. Another new Library. That fixed #3, #4, and the drag and drop issue.
Problems still-
1. File size- when scanning to black and white, it doesn't really seem to scan to black and white. Scan a two page document for an example, in black and white. ...

In addition to #2 from the original post:
If you scan multiple pages (in B and W), you have to convert EACH page to B&W to get the file size down- there seems to be no way to do all pages of a multi-paged doc at one time.

not able to drag and drop to the desktop, either.

Am I missing something? I installed 2.0 over 1.5 (or most recent version). I tossed the preferences file, re-calibrated the scanner, and started a new Library. I run 10.5.6, with filevault. MBP 2.2, 4gb ram. the library is stored in the Documents folder.
I'm pretty sure there is something wrong ...

as far as I can tell, this does not work at all in 1.1.4. With single or multipage documents.. It'd be nice though..
