Hi,
I'm afraid the Mac software cannot generate an .nrx file. If you'd like to move individual items from the Mac to the PC, you can export them as a PDF and import that into NeatWorks for Windows, but there's really no way to do a large-scale data migration from the Mac to the PC.

NeatWorks for Windows does not support third party scanners at this time - that feature is only available with our Mac software.
You could generate PDF files with your ScanSnap and use our PDF import to bring them into the software, but that's about the only way you could make use of the Fujitsu scanner.

That's a false positive from AVG. Only AVG's products are actually reporting that at this time.
We believe it's something about our self-extractor that they don't like. There is no virus in the update file - AVG's definitions are just a little off.

This was actually covered in a previous response, but updating to 4.0 SP3 will significantly reduce the size of PDF files generated by the NeatWorks application, particularly grayscale direct-to-PDF scans.
We're seeing up to a 60% size reduction in PDF files generated using the PDF button in SP3, and they look a lot better as well.

Open up your Start menu, find All Programs, then NeatWorks -> Support Tools. Launch the Support Utility and use the log screen to display the error log by choosing it from the dropdown in the bottom left.

If they don't yet have letters inside them and are standard white envelopes, that should be fine.
Big manilla ones might not feed well, though.

Make sure that none of your collection names include apostrophes, slashes or other special characters. You might also have problems if your user account name includes anything along those lines.

Hi,
The image adjustment tool requires a binarized image to function. Document scans are grayscale - they are not binarized like receipts.
You'll see a marked change in document appearance in the 4.0 SP3 release, the date of which is still TBD but not too far off. This will also reduce the size of PDF output on grayscale document ...
