I'm getting the black scan area too, but I just let it slide as a beta issue, but I didn't think about the monetary impact on fax/toner usage that would cause for corporate customers.... that's a good point.
I finally scanned in all the receipts I've been piling up for the last three months (300+ receipts!) Let me tell you guys, Jenn and Sean, how many fond thoughts I had of you while spending 11 hours scanning paper at my mini-desk on easter Sunday.... lol. My girlfriend officially hates you now.
I'll work on my version here to see if I can force the issue to happen on a repeated basis. I know that some of mine did get the black areas, yet others didn't, and yet I scanned them all in the same session... I'll let you know if I think of anything creative. (besides how much I wanted to squeeze you guys heads through the scanner this past weekend. lol.)
