I had a Windows Vista system with Neatworks 4.6.2 installed and humming along great, obviously installed and activated via my CD key. I just started fresh with a full, clean version of Windows 7, and installed Neatworks properly. It runs fine, but asks for my CD key before running and I'm afraid to put it in. I'd like to de-activate my Windows Vista copy of Neatworks so I can legally run it on the new OS (I still have Vista on an old hard drive just in case during the transition). I don't want to use up any authorizations on the key if they're limited.
Is there a way to deauthorize a copy of Neatworks on a system so I can legally install it on a new OS? The old OS will be wiped and the original copy never used again. How many activations does a person get with a given key?
Thanks.
