I have been searching high and low regarding this error..."Database Not Running"... and have worked through everything that I can find suggested. I have played around with the SQL Server settings, etc....and have not been successful in getting my Neat Receipts application working again. I have a ton of documents saved there, and it would be regrettable if I can no longer access them.
The SQL error log that I get indicates errors
Error: 17182, Severity: 16, State: 1.
2009-09-19 21:37:41.87 Server TDSSNIClient initialization failed with error 0x2, status code 0x80.

2009-09-19 21:37:41.88 Server Error: 17826, Severity: 18, State: 3.
2009-09-19 21:37:41.88 Server Could not start the network library because of an internal error in the network library. To determine the cause, review the errors immediately preceding this one in the error log.
2009-09-19 21:37:41.88 Server Error: 17120, Severity: 16, State: 1.
2009-09-19 21:37:41.88 Server SQL Server could not spawn FRunCM thread
If anyone has any other ideas, I'd be grateful to exploring them.
