After about 45 man hours of screwing around with NeatWorks, creating macros for Excel, and almost gotten this incredibly unwieldy software to do what I paid for, I have decided to go ahead with my plans to get VISTA (retch) off this machine and put XP on it so I won't be spending so much time waiting for Vista to haul it's bloated carcass around. Yeah, yeah, I know, I should have moved back to XP first, but I was on a 9 day trip and had lots of spare time to do what NEAT should have done in the first place. Besides, I didn;t have all the stuff I need to reinstall after exorcising this nifty new computer. Having said that...
Where are the settings and all that stored that I might move them to the new operating system? Obviously it will be a nuke and rebuild from the ground up, and I really don't want to have to try and remember what all I did to rassle NeatWorks into submission.
Surely there is a way to do this? Help me out here and I will post the various macros and workarounds I did to make NeatWorks "fill in the blanks" on my company's predesigned Excel based expense account.
