Hi,

I need to customize my fields in neat receipts for mac.

I cannot find anything that will let me do this.

The edit / customize function does not seem to work correctly or be reliable. 

Is there a directory to the pre written fields and can I change their names? 

I LOVE scanning my receipts directly into a file but need to write my own categories.

I also have calibrated the scanner but still find the recognition software misses many standard lines.

i have also updated to the latest mac version.

 

UUnfortunately, though the options are there to customize/delete fields, that function is not available at this time. NR says they are working on it, but they have been saying that for a year.  Sorry!  As far as categories (rent, gas, etc.) you can fill in that space with the correct description and it will stick and often be recognized the next time you scan a receipt for the same vendor.  But that is about as good as it gets.  Software leaves MUCH to be desired!
