A very basic set of image editing tools (fine rotation, despeckling, cropping, etc.) would be a welcome addition to Neat Receipts.  The logical thing would be to allow the tools to be spawned from the Inbox before filing. 

Additionally, since Windows has many of these tools available in its photo gallery app, you could simply just allow users to run that app with a copy of the scanned file.  (or inherit that functionality in your software objects)

I use the crop feature all the time. I'd love to see it added to all portions of the program (business cards and documents).

 

One thing that was removed in v4 was the ability to crop an image to the edge. In v3, if you moved the cursor off the receipt image, the crop area would stop on the edge. In v4, the cropping area now disappears. Many receipts have data printed very close to the edge and it's almost impossible to catch it all since there is no zoom or window resize in the Adjust Image.

 

Can you make the Adjust Image window resizable (and resize the image to fit)? Another great feature would be to allow the crop area resizable.

I agree with the original poster.  Cropping is something I do by hand since you won't crop to the inside of the crooked edges automagically.
