I have had the NeatDesk for about 4 months now and I really like the product idea however performance is a different story. I just wanted to find out if anyone else out there is experiencing the same issues I am. I will break it down by scanner and software issues:
-scanner
Jams with small receipts
Says it can handle 10 to 50 documents and receipts, but this is an overstatement. Jams anytime there are multiple receipts.
The feed wheel has sucked in a few receipts and I have had to take needle nose pliers to remove.
Pulls in multiple receipts many times, the scanner is working so fast it's hard to tell when this is happening so I need to sit there and watch it.
-software
Unreal resource and memory hog. For something that should make life easier, it does in one sense, but then I need to shutdown all of my other programs just to let the thing run.
Error after error after error message received, then it shuts down and I need to restart and either I have lost the scan or I need to refile
The chat on the webpage has some real rude folks "helping" out.
There's more but my hands are tired.
