What is a Neat Sheet?
Neat Sheets are intelligent templates that ship with NeatScan To Office
and allow you to scan receipt data and images directly into an expense
report. Receipt data, such as date, vendor, sales tax and total is
automatically placed in the appropriate fields. You can access a Neat
Sheet by clicking the "Open Neat Sheet" button on the NeatScan to
Office toolbar in Excel.
What is the difference between a Neat Sheet and an ordinary Excel spreadsheet?
Neat Sheet’s ship with NeatScan To Office and are specially prepared
intelligent Excel spread sheets that can be used for tracking expenses
and expense reporting. They allow users to scan receipts directly into
Excel and use The Neat Company’s patented scanning technology. This
capability is not possible with an ordinary Excel spreadsheet.
NeatScan To Office does enable users to scan images directly into any
Excel spreadsheet. Use NeatScan To Office with Neat Sheets to track
expenses and prepare expense reports, use standard Excel spreadsheets to hold images of
relevant documents.
