I am using the Scanalizer for 3 days now. I receive lots of receipts on PDF format from on line purchases. I noticed that there is no image PDF import. Will this feature be added? What about HTML receipts? It would be nice if I could save the page and Scanalizer import it or parse keeping the page in the database.

Currently it's not possible to import PDFs and HTML receipts, however, these features are on the way.  There is no firm release date at this time.

However, you can easily save the .pdf to a .tif (by printing using the Microsoft Image Writer "printer").  This file, according to another forum user *can* be imported and processed as a receipt.

please include microsoft's office document image format (.mdi) as well

Will v. 2.8 allow for PDF (& HTML) receipts import?

Also, there are a few confusing posts out there.  Is v. 2.8 still being released this month?  Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Version 2.8 has been delayed until the Fall.  I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.  

2.8 will not allow for PDF and HTML imports, however, this feature is on the development list.  I will post updates.
