I got Neat Receipts recently at Costco. Put in the CD and got some errors about not being able to play the CD (possibly my computer's fault). Got it going and was told there was a newer version of the software. Downloaded the newer version and installed it but was told it failed. Installed the download a second time and it worked. Tried to run the software and got some denied error. Found out I need to right click the icon and run it as Administrator. Told to plug in the scanner by the software and get a message about installing the drivers, and to please put in the CD. Put the CD in, told there's no drivers on the CD. Plug the scanner in again and try again, no luck. Have been all over the internet looking for a solution or driver download, but no luck.
I've wasted 1.5 hours of my life just trying to install the danged thing -- it better be more than fabulous once (if?) I actually get it working.
Does anyone know how to resolve my issue of not being able to find the scanner drivers when installing in Vista?
