    NR 4.0 - Database not running on Vista Home Premium 32bit (german Installation)

    I installed NR4 on a Desktop with Vista home Premium (32bit), German Version. NR4 comes back with the Error message "Neatworks cannot launch because a connection to the database could not be established, possibly because the database is still starting up. Please wait 30 seconds and then retry..." After the 30seconds the same message came up.

    During the install process the software detected that the User/ Group "Users" was not there. However this Group is present just with a different name (Benutzer). I created the Group USERS from the DOS command, assigned it to the named user  and reinstalled NR4. The installation was then completed. Unfortunately it still doesn't run, the same error is showing up again.

    Based on some discussions in the forum I went to MSSQL folder and ran the setup. It returned everything passed except one line which had the message said "pending reboot Requirement", however reboot doesn't help. When I looked into the MSSQL install Logfiles it seems to be that the Database is not installed correctly.

    I hope somebody knows how to fix this problem. Thanks
