I don't know where this idea came from, and it being the only "improvement" I've seen I'm extremely disappointed in there being a cost for this. Especially angry that we LOST a feature I liked using (multiple page scan) which I was using for things like restaurant receipts where I wanted the total charge with tip for accounting and the itemized receipt for IRS (highly sensitive to IRS demands because of 3 years worth of audits).
But, back to the INBOX. It has added at least 3 extra steps to the process of getting data into the database... after a click to select receipt, clicking thru to fill in fields (that's all fine - was in earlier versions), now we have to open a new window to assign a folder (with the stupid grey folder looking squares that just take up screen space instead of having a list of folder names--really dumb change there), then a new click to file the receipt... all just to get the image and basic OCR data into the receipts folder. What a PAIN and a waste of time!
I'm told by tech support that the INBOX is really the only upgrade! I wish tech support and sales departments would talk to each other once in a while. Sales is full of lies about what their upgrades are going to do (specifically, I asked about export function that will bring a MEMO field I renamed with rest of the data... told yes, took credit card number, gave me update without the function in 3.0. Same story for version 4.0. I paid for BOTH and BOTH updates are virtually the exact same as earlier versions... not worth a nickle!
Is ANYONE getting added benefit from 4.0?
