I backup NR every time I use it. I saved a copy of the datebase to a CD-R because when I opened up NR once it told me an upgrade to NR 2.5.6 was avalable. I went all the upgrades and something happend that I had to uninstall NR. Luckily I thought I had a backup of NR.
My question is how do I upload that backup that is on the CD-R to the new version of NR 2.5.6? It seems keeps telling me that the file extension is wrong. When I go to FILE/IMPORT FROM/NEATRECIPTS FOLDER FILE the file extension needs to be (*.nrx). WHen you backed up in 2.1.1 the file extension was (*.nrbak).
I have over 400 reciepts on this backup and I need to get them transfered from the CD-R to my newest download of NR Professional. HOW DO I DO THIS....PLEASE MAKE IT SESAME STREET SIMPLE.
