Hello,
My scanner came with NeatReceipts v2.1.1 software for Win 2000 & XP. I purchased the v3 upgrade disc (which is actually v3.0.4) for Win XP & Vista.
I am trying to install the NeatReceipts software on my new computer, which has Vista Ultimate. I cannot seem to get to a version that the v3.x Upgrade disc will accept.
I tried the 3.0 disc, which tells me to install from the original disc then do 3 updates: 2.1.4 update installs just fine, but the 2.5.5 update and the 2.7.5 update say they are not compatible with my Vista OS.
Going to the NR Tech Support website, I'm told that I have to update to 2.8.1 to get Vista compatibility. So I did that, and again try the upgrade disc. I am told to choose the version that I am upgrading from. The only Vista choice is Vista Beta - Version 2.7.6. I know that I am supposed to uninstall the old version, but I've already done that twice. Now, I would like to FIRST make sure that I can find an upgrade PATH to v3.x before I uninstall it again.
Could someone please tell me how to upgrade to the NR v3.0.4 disc that I paid good money for?
