I have exactly the same problem. Somebody should look at this.
Installation goes almost all the way to the end, then when the main installation progress window says "Restarting the Database Controller" a meesage ox pops up. It has "NEAT Receipts Vesion 3 SP 1 Update" in the caption and says "An error occured while applying the Core Files patch. The Update may not be installed properly".
