I've had Version 3.0.4_414 for a week and I have scanned in 90 receipts so far, but when I ran the backup, it said the original database was up to 128 megabytes. The backed up version is compressed to 33 megabytes. That means the data and backup are already up to 161 MB for only 90 receipts. If the size of the database keeps increasing at this rate, I will be looking at consuming 8 gigabytes of storage in a year. I am running this program on my personal computer.
My question: If I delete a lot of receipts will the database automatically decrease in size? If the answer is no, is there a compression utility to eliminate the empty spaces from the deletions?
