I just installed a new Neat Receipts with 3.0 a few days ago, and thought it was doing great, until tonight when I scanned in 127 cash receipts from the past several months. Out of 127 receipts, most from either Kroger or Walmart, more than HALF of the receipts did not have a Vendor name!
Plus, I've already discovered other errors - all were cash receipts and say "cash" on the receipt, but several of them were classifed as Credit Card or Master Card. We pay cash for our gasoline and ALL of the gas receipts were classified as Credit Card.
Another disturbing error is that at least one of the receipts had for the total amount $190.12, but when I looked at the scanned image the amount was really $19.12!
Another receipt had a completely wrong total amount - $28.39 and the correct amount showing on the receipt was 29.64.
Is there something that I am doing wrong to cause all these errors and omissions? I made sure to calibrate the scanner before using it the first time. Then I did about 3 test scans that were satisfactory. Tonight is only the second time I've used it and find the results much less than satisfactory.
