I'm trying to get this to work with sane on Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.10. I have it working in a Windows XP VM, so I know the device is OK. I've copied the FW file from the windows to the Linux and what I'm currently getting is an image that is severely dark. I tried changing brightness and gamma controls with no results. M/N SCSA4601EU. Any help appreciated.
