    Neat Tips

    Tip #1
    Sync data with Microsoft Outlook.

Scan business cards and NeatWorks will automatically extract key contact information, such as company, name, email address, phone & fax number(s) and populate fields accordingly.  You can then sync this data with MS Outlook and eliminate the need to manually enter data.  To sync with MS Outlook:

    1.       Launch NeatWorks and click on the Business Cards tab.
    2.       Click Sync > Configure Sync > Choose & Configure Outlook Sync.
    3.       Select your sync settings and click Save and Close.
    4.       Click the Sync button whenever you wish to exchange data between NeatWorks and Outlook.

    Tip #2
    Auto-populate payment type

When payment type is unknown, you can select a default payment type, such as Cash or Visa.  To change or update your auto-populate rules:

    1.       Launch NeatWorks and click on Tools > Personalize.
    2.       Click on the Rules tab.
    3.       Select your auto-populate settings and click Apply.

    Re: Neat Tips

I would really like to take advantage of your Tip #2. However, where is the "Tools" menu/button located? On my version of NeatWorks (2.1.9) there is no such button entitled "Tools." The only available menu options are: NeatWorks, File, Edit, Scan, View, Format, Window and Help.  Is it possible that this is a PC-only feature? If so, is there a workaround for the Macintosh platform to accomplish your time-saving tip?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,

    Randino
