    scaning error-vertical black line, help!

I have recently noticed a vertical black line down the left hand side of scanned docs/receipts.  I have reset the scanner's calibration w/out any change.  Otherwise the doc scans just fine, and is perfectly legible.

Unfortunately i cannot find the origianal scanner calibration sheet.  I tried to print the new one, but it is essentially a white sheet of paper with several arrows and 'this side up" statement.  I'm not sure if it is printing correctly?  Also, i cannot find the scanner cleaner that it supposedly came with.

    Anyone with similar issues?  Suggestions?

    scaning error-vertical black line, help!

I get this same line. Is there anyone out there with a fix for this?

    Hi,

I get this sometimes....Just run the cleaner sheet using ....SCAN...Run Neatreceipts Cleaner...from the menu tabs. THEN re-run calibration. This fixes for me.

    Hope it helps.

I ran the wet alcohol cleaner through until it was dry. Then I ran the dry cloth three or more times and that worked.

Just keep running the wet and dry cloths through until success.

Can't wait for Neat Co to address this.

After running the wet and dry cloths through, I didn't need to run the calibration through to correct the problem, but your mileage may vary.
